I really REALLY hate it when I discover something I love and find out it was a thing a few years ago and I never knew. This isn't the same as FOMO, which I so do NOT suffer from. There is way too much “stuff” out there and I don't care about keeping up with it.
But once in awhile I discover someone or something that I adore, and when I check into it, I find out that I missed the concert tour or that the vinyls are sold out. WHAT. That kind of thing really annoys me.
Here's one treat that I missed out on: All Hail the Silence.
But at the same time, I guess I haven't missed out on it completely, just partly. Last holiday season (2016-2017) All Hail the Silence (band members are Christian Burns doing vocals, BT doing everything else) released a sweet freebie. Check out the YouTube version here:

I have so much more to say about Brian Transeau (BT) and Christian Burns. I've jumped the gun by starting with All Hail the Silence rather than writing about their solo careers to date, and I also haven't talked about the fact that All Hail the Silence uses all analogue audio equipment (i.e. no computers) for its electronic sound. But I couldn't resist putting this out there for all of my readers during this holiday season. It's so beautiful. Enjoy!
