Hey everyone! Are you hunkering down and getting ready to face winter? Or are you one of the lucky ones who enjoys warm temperatures all year round? We're in the “hunkering down” category and prepping for all things holiday-ish and year-end-ish. I'm not a cold weather native, so this time of year brings out a frantic feeling in me. Give me a sunny beach any day….
Meanwhile, we opened up the month with our annual pilgrimage to the Christmas tree farm up the road. We were missing two of the kids who are away in college, but we managed to get the deed done, complete with the hot chocolate, peppermint candy canes, and bon fire that the farmers always provide. Thank goodness, because it was cold! Brrr.
You may have noticed a bit of slow-down with my Fly! serial novel on Wattpad. I'm in the middle of a giant rewrite on a different book, so action on Fly! has taken a back seat for now. I'm not quite sure how to schedule these two conflicting creative projects, but when I know, I'll let you know! Rest assured, the plot trajectory for Fly! has been worked out–it just needs time to be written and posted. The giant rewrite on my other project (working title: Meg and the Ambassador) is a bit more involved. I may start posting bits of Meg via the newsletter. Let me know if that interests you!
